I’m going to be honest and tell you all that it’s been a really long time since I’ve found a hunt worth my time and effort. There was a period of time when there were 4-5 hunts running at any given time and the rewards rarely reflected the quality that the store offering them was capable of. And, I get it. It’s a free item. I’m not expecting a full mesh outfit complete with accessories for completing my search, but it’s nice to feel like some effort was put into the prize. If you give me a prize that I WANT to wear, chances are I will return to your store to purchase more things.
The point of my mini-rant is that the Wayward Hunt is here and not only is the list of participating stores long and filled with big names and awesome up and coming brands, but the prizes are top quality. They are items you’d expect to see boxed for purchase in their stores (in some cases, they literally are special edition recolored versions of full price products!!). The hunt is being organized by Wayward Events, who were formerly ZombiePopcorn, and if you remember ZP, you remember that they always seemed to have pretty high standards when it came to their events. A change of name has not changed their vision.
The bottom line is that you need to get out there and start hunting. YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY.
